Banner
Banner is the University’s ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, it is the centralized system used to support the business of running the university. Ellucian, a company that focuses on higher education software, provides Banner to the university.
Banner Finance contains the financial, accounting and budget data for the university. It’s used by the Controller’s Office with their day-to day operations and administrative tasks.
SSB Self-Service Banner Finance
SSB Self-Service Banner Finance is an online tool to plug into Banner and manage financial information. You can access SSB Finance via insideND and user access is based on your Fund/Org security.
My Finance Query allows you to query and view your Finance budget data. This works best when querying a Fund & Organization combination. There are several features in SSB Finance such as:
- Create a query to retrieve Finance budget data
- Share a query with others in your organization having the same level of access
- Mark a query as a favorite
- Perform comparison queries
- Download query results to Excel
Access Banner
To use Banner, a connection to the VPN is required when accessing from off-campus locations. Please ensure you're connected to the on-campus network or the VPN before accessing Banner.
Obtain Access
If you require access to Banner, please complete the required online request form to manage or view financial data related to your role within the University.
