UltraTime Enterprise Access
Web Access
Access to the electronic versions of UltraTime Enterprise system is made through the University portal at inside.nd.edu. Off-campus users will need to enter through the VPN. First-time users of the UltraTime Enterprise system users should:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select "Tools"
- Select "Pop-ip Blocker Setting"
- Under "Address of Website to allow" enter: *.nd.edu
- Select "Add"
- Select "Close"
Please note: Search tools such as Yahoo or Google carry pop-up blockers. Those blockers will also interfere with access to UltraTime Enterprise.
Linx Terminal (Time Clock) Access
Certain offices and departments require hourly employees to register hours in UltraTime Enterprise by swiping in at Linx terminals (time clocks). For a list of terminal locations on campus, click here.

On-Call Swipe Cards
A supervisor hiring an on-call or temporary employee must ensure the employee holds a valid ID for use at Linx terminals. Please note: Any on-call or temporary employee ID card used prior to the Conversion to UltraTime Enterprise (Friday, June 23, 2006) is not longer valid. To obtain a new ID, the supervisor must provide a completed On-Call/Temporary Employee ID Card Request Form for the employee to submit to Human Resources, click here for the form.
University ID Cards
A supervisor hiring a full-time employee previously employed in another University office or department must ensure the employee holds a valid University ID for use at Linx terminals. Please check the expiration date on the back of the ID to be sure it is still active. The employee should be referred to Human Resources for issuance of a new card.
