Personal and Third-Party Check Cashing

NDFCU Members (faculty, staff and students): Personal checks will be cashed at the LaFortune Branch of NDFCU

Non-member NDFCU faculty and staff: Personal checks will not be cashed at the LaFortune Branch of NDFCU. Non-member faculty and staff are encouraged to utilize the 19 campus ATMs (17 from NDFCU, 1 from 1st Source) for personal cash withdrawals. These ATMs do not charge a fee for non-member withdrawals. However, an indiviual's home bank may impose a fee for using an ATM from a different bank. To see a map of ATM locations, go to: http://controller.nd.edu.

Non-member N.D. students: Personal checks, up to $200 per day, may be cashed at the LaFortune Branch of NDFCU by current students. NDFCU will also cash third-party checks from direct relatives (parents, siblings, grandparents), up to $200 per day, for non-member students.

University of Notre Dame checks: NDFCU will continue to honor all checks issued by the University of Notre Dame.
