Association of Notre Dame Clubs Federal Tax Return (Form 990EZ)
Welcome to the Association of Notre Dame Clubs, Inc. Form 990EZ Web page. The purpose of this page is to provide you with access to information regarding the filing of Form 990EZ for your club for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009.
Recently, the IRS has made significant changes to the Form 990. To allow additional time to adapt to the new form, the IRS has set filing thresholds over the next three years that will phase in the redesigned Form 990. For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, clubs that have gross receipts exceeding $1,000,000 and total assets that exceed $2,500,000 at the end of the year are required to file the redesigned Form 990. We are not aware of any clubs that meet these filing thresholds; thus, all clubs will file a Form 990EZ for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009. As in the prior year, each club's return will be filed individually based on the information you provide in the financial questionnnaire.
The information for your club and the required Certification must be received by the University of Notre Dame Tax Department by Monday, September 21, 2009 in order to assure that your club will satisfy its filing requirement for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009. If we do not receive information from your club, the club may be subject to significant IRS penalties for failing to file, including losing its tax-exempt status.
More detailed information is available in the Officers' Letter sent to your club from Chuck Lennon and Holly Colman.
