*Important Alert* Administrative System Outage
Please be advised the core infrastructure that supports the Universities Administrative Systems is being upgraded to High Availability architecture. For more information go to http://nd.edu/~inside/outage.htm
These systems will be Un-available starting Thursday August 7, 2008 at 7:00pm until Monday August 11, 2008 at 8:00am. The services listed below will be effective:
FinanceND channel - GLez, Manage GLez View, INB Finance, Self Service Finance Look-up, Vendor Query, Payroll Query, Activity Reports, Asset and Liability Reports, Eprint Finance Reports, Finance Reference Tools, GLIQ
Report channel -Standard report - Finance, Business Objects
These services will remain down for the duration of the migration (which could last the entire weekend) and be released to campus on Monday August 11, 2008 at 8:00am.

GL-ez unavailable 12-1 PM for 2x daily refreshes
In order to facilitate the more timely viewing of transaction postings during the Fiscal year-end close process, beginning today, GL-ez will be updated twice daily-over the Noon lunch hour and then again overnight.
The noon refresh is expected to take between 60 and 75 minutes, during which time GL-ez users may not be able to access GLez or may experience incomplete views. We will work to minimize the timing of these refreshes as much as possible. If you have a critical need for information during this time, please contact the Controller's Office at 1-7035.
Fiscal '09 Month End Close Dates
GLez (a new account lookup tool)
During the week of January 21, 2008, viewing financial information in the General Ledger will become easier with the introduction of a new online lookup tool - GLez. Using input provided by faculty and staff over the past few months the Controller's Office developed GLez to provide many of the improvements end users have requested with respect to the current Finance look-up tools. We've previewed GLez with more than 65 end users across nearly all functional and academic areas and have received very positive feedback. For more information on GLez, click here.

Fiscal Year '08 Monthly Close Schedule
New Consolidated Payroll Calendars
New consolidated payroll calendars are now available online reflecting form submission deadlines and pay schedules. Hourly staff PAF submitters will note new Monday 5 PM deadline to Human Resources and Student Employment.
